The Rivet Finder and written guides provide starting points for further verification and scrap testing. They are not a universal fit chart, engineering specification, product certification, or substitute for a manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Workshop safety
Leathercraft tools can cut, pinch, strike, or eject material. Use appropriate eye protection, stable workholding, maintained tools, and the safety instructions supplied by each tool maker. Stop using damaged punches, setters, hammers, presses, or dies. You are responsible for deciding whether a process and workspace are safe for your circumstances.
3. Accuracy and changes
Rivet names, dimensions, materials, listings, and tool interfaces vary. We aim to distinguish measured guidance from assumptions, but the site may contain errors or become outdated. Verify current specifications with the hardware or tool maker and test the complete assembly on matching scrap before using a finished piece.
